This notice explains how SettleWell Ltd ("we," "us," "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and apps. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels) work in comparable ways. They let a site remember things about your visit.
The cookies we use
We keep this simple. We use two kinds:
1. Strictly necessary cookies (always on)
These are essential for the platform to work, for example, keeping you logged in and secure. The Service can't function without them, so they don't require your consent. You can block them in your browser, but parts of the site may then not work.
2. Analytics and performance cookies (consent-based)
We use product-analytics tools, including session recording, to understand how people use SettleWell and to make it better: which features are used, where people get stuck, and what to fix. Session recordings mask personal information shown on screen. These are non-essential, so we only set them with your consent, which you give through our cookie banner.
We do not use advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies.

We review this list regularly and verify it against the storage the app actually sets. We won't enable a new non-essential technology until this notice and our consent mechanism are updated to cover it.
Managing your choices
When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the link (also in the site footer). You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Withdrawing consent to analytics cookies won't affect your ability to use the Service; it just means we collect less information about how it's used.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
